Hokuto City, located at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, boasts some of Japan's leading certified natural environments such as the Southern Alps UNESCO Eco Park, the Kobushi Biosphere Reserve, and the Yatsugatake-Chūshin Kōgen Quasi-National Park, designated for its underground waters of the Yatsugatake range. The areas were listed in the "100 renowned water locations of the Showa and Heisei periods" by the ministry of the Environment. It is the only place in Japan where three locations were designated as "Home to renowned water."

In addition, Hokuto city is promoting the world-class "Water Mountain" project, pledging to conserve and nurture this environment as a valuable property for humanity and continues to convey its value and charm.

Why not take a trip to Hokuto and enjoy the locally produced Hokuto foods, like sake (sake, whiskey, wine, beer), rice, and highland vegetables; all nurtured by this mineral rich water, sunlight (The no. 1 daylight hours in Japan), and fertile soil?

Along with "Hokuto food", you can enjoy the most magnificent view of Mt. Fuji in Japan, gazing at the stars on a clear night, and visit waterfalls with plentiful negative ions. Introducing a tour stay plan you can visit with confidence even during the “With Corona” and “After Corona” periods.
